I found that laughter helped soothe my symptoms. If you’re curious to see how laughter might help you, I’m very happy to be your guide into the world of "Giggles and Grins: Navigating Menopause with Laughter Yoga."
Let's dive in and discover how laughter can be the perfect companion through the rollercoaster of perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopause.
Understanding the Laughter-Filled Odyssey:
Picture this – you're at the gateway of perimenopause, that time when your hormones decide to throw a party of their own. It's a wild ride with irregular periods and mood swings, but hey, it's just the warm-up act. The main event is menopause – officially declared when Aunt Flo decides to take a 12-month vacation. Finally, we have post-menopause, the encore years after the final curtain call.
Truth is, women take our roles seriously and we don’t give laughter much of a chance. It’s no laughing matter when your hormones seem to ditch you right when you need them the most! That’s why Laughter Yoga is such a useful tool because it’s all about intentional laughter and not waiting to be amused.
