Embrace Your Radiance: A Laughter Yoga Coaching Session for Women


Introduction:


Welcome, radiant you! Today, we embark on a journey of self-discovery, laughter, and empowerment. As we gather in this space, let's set the intention to embrace our inner light and cultivate unshakable confidence. Are you ready to laugh, learn, and grow together? Heeeee let's do this!


Part 1: Story Time


Picture this: You're strolling through a lush garden, surrounded by vibrant flowers in full bloom. As you bask in the beauty of nature, you notice a group of joyful women practising laughter yoga under the shade of a majestic tree. How can you tell when a bunch of women are on the move? You can hear the talking and laughing moving along as they do! In this scene (like any other when you've witnessed a group laughing) their laughter fills the air, and it is contagious. It gets us laughing too. We might not even know what they’re laughing about and yet we can’t help laughing just at the sound of their laughter! Inspired by their infectious energy, we decide to join them, feeling a sense of liberation wash over us.


Part 2: Laughter Exercises (LE)


LE1: Rainbow Laughter

Imagine a rainbow arching across the sky, each colour representing a different aspect of your life. With each inhale, visualise yourself drawing in the vibrant energy of the rainbow. Then, as you exhale, release any tension or negativity with a burst of laughter. Repeat this process, allowing laughter to fill every corner of your being. I like to imagine the rainbow grows bigger and bigger as we laugh louder and louder. Clasp your hands together to the right side of your body, about shoulder high. Open the top hand in a rainbow semi-circle to the left shoulder. Close the rainbow by bringing your right hand back over your left hand, laugh. Then open your hands again and make ever-increasingly large rainbow arches as you breath and laugh louder.


LE2: Gibberish Laughter


We have no idea what language these women speak. There is one universal language and that is laughter. Ha ha ha. So let’s communicate in gibberish and laughter— “HnbJHI^GFDajjjdgs  shagtqyweuwhgayu ahh ha ha ha.” 


LE3: Mirror Laughter

Stand in front of a mirror, gaze into your own eyes, and give yourself a warm smile. Now, let out a hearty laugh, watching as your reflection joins in. Embrace the beauty of your laughter, knowing that it radiates from within, illuminating your true essence. Let’s imagine you have a handheld mirror, look into the mirror and laugh. Then turn the mirror to the other women so they can seem themselves reflected back ha ha. 


LE4: Dance of Joy

Put on your favourite upbeat song and let your body move freely to the rhythm. We can always imagine the tune of the Bollywood Laughter Dance ha ha ha ha Yay! As you dance, allow yourself to laugh without inhibition, embracing the sheer joy of movement. Feel the energy coursing through your veins, igniting a sense of vitality and empowerment.


Part 3: Coaching Section (CS)


Today, we'll explore the acronym R.A.D.I.A.N.T. to unlock the secrets to confidence and empowerment:


R - Resilience: Reflect on past challenges you've overcome and recognise the strength within you.

A - Authenticity: Embrace your uniqueness and shine your light authentically.

D - Determination: Set clear goals and pursue them with unwavering determination.

I - Inner Peace: Cultivate a sense of inner peace through mindfulness practices and self-care.

A - Affirmations: Practise daily affirmations to rewire your mindset and boost self-confidence.

N - Nurturing Relationships: Surround yourself with supportive, uplifting individuals who celebrate your radiance.

T - Take Action: Step out of your comfort zone and take bold action towards your dreams.
